We pack in bulk. Dawg food contains 14 half pound (8oz) servings. Each bag is 7 pounds before being frozen.

Convenience is the name of the game. Dawg food takes a few minutes to prepare in a microwave or on a stovetop. Add your choice of seasonings and enjoy.

We're professionals here. Dawg Food ships frozen in top-tier insulated packaging that's tested to keep the package sufficiently cold for 4-5 days, and should be stored in the freezer as soon as it arrives.

Really though, we don't have any added shipping fees - just our direct UPS/USPS costs.
The price they quote is based on the size, weight, and how far the package will be traveling from our facility (for now, we ship out of California!)

Yep. Because we're shipping frozen products we need to have a balance between shipping speed and cost. The difference between 2 and 3 day shipping Is often $20+, so 3 day shipping for most destinations Is the sweet spot.

Since Saturday and Sunday don't count as business days, that means we need to make sure your package arrives by Friday! A certain percentage of packages are delivered a day late, so we leave one day cushion to ensure your Dawg Food arrives fresh.

For long term storage, Dawg Food needs to be kept frozen. Scoop the desired frozen amount straight out of the bag when you're ready to eat and follow cooking instructions.

You can also defrost your bag In the refrigerator and make meal prep portions to keep in the fridge for a grab-and-go level of convenience (just make sure to store the bag back in the freezer).

As of right now, DF does not specifically use Halal or Kosher meats in our products.
